Oxygen and Emergency Planning

Advanced Home Care allows all oxygen patients to exchange their portable tanks in the retail store. Please be sure that you make a trip to a store in advance of the storm so that your tanks are full. You should also have back up oxygen. Your back up oxygen should also be exchanged in our retail store in advance of the storm. Due to limited inventory, we do not have the ability to provide additional or extra tanks.

If you have a HomeFill system, please fill all your HomeFill tanks the day before the storm and ensure they are full in preparation for the weather event.

Please keep in mind that you should identify another location in your community that you can go to should you lose power. It will be necessary for you to move your oxygen equipment on your own to that location if you find that you need to move to a safer place prior to the storm or upon losing power. If you experience an emergency, please call 911 as Advanced Home Care is not an emergency service. Planning for the weather event is key. Evacuating to a place where there is a likelihood that there will be power is most important to ensuring your safety.
