(High Point, NC, December 21, 2011) Advanced Home Care has always placed value on giving back to the community. As a not for profit home health care provider, it is our vision to operate as a vital part of the continuum of care in the communities we serve. As part of this vision, Advanced Home Care is committed to providing compassionate, high quality care to all of our patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
To honor this commitment, Advanced Home Care provided over $20 million in community benefit within a four-state service area of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia in 2011. This community benefit includes uncompensated care, corporate and employee donations and volunteer activities that contributed to the health and welfare of these communities.
Advanced Home Care is dedicated to being a great corporate citizen by promoting both company and employee charitable giving and volunteerism. Our employees also donated over 4,800 hours of their personal time participating in volunteer work to benefit the community in 2011. Whether it was spent serving meals in a soup kitchen or volunteering at an after-school program, it is clear that Advanced Home Care employees put the company’s credo into practice – Home care is our business… Caring is our specialty.
